                       Trunk or Treat!

We had a great Halloween this year. Eli decided to be a dinosaur so he could growl at everyone and Addison was a tiger. Our church had a wonderful party and trunk or treat for the little ones. Nate was in charge of our trunk and had a blast handing out candy to the little ones. Then we came home and put the kids to bed and relaxed! Unfortunately there were not any cool scary movies to watch but we had a great day. We are doing great!

                       Potty training advice

My little Eli is 2 and 1/2 and I think he may be ready to be potty trained(or I am just ready to stop buying so many diapers.) I have no idea how to do it but I know my current method is not working. I let him run around naked when we are home and ask him every fifteen minutes if he needs to go potty. He always says not yet and then ends up peeing in a corner. Luckily we have all hardwood floors so it is easy to clean up! So maybe he is not ready? Is there a good method anyone has found effective? I really have no idea what I am doing. I do not want to rush him but I think it might be a good time! Also, do I really need to buy the special toilet and all the other "accesories" available for potty training? We are obviously living on student loans so $1 now is about $3 by the time we pay it back! I have gotten him excited about wearing the Cars underwear that I found online.

Basically, I would rather ask my fellow bloggers what has worked for them then rather than research it myself and try to figure it out! That is one of the great things about blogging:)

                       Apple Orchard in Indiana

Today we had a blast going to an apple orchard in Indiana! There was also a petting zoo and tractor ride which the kids really enjoyed. There was five of us moms with all our little ones. Then we picked fresh apples off the trees and they were amazing! Thanks again everyone for the fun outing!

                       Baby Addi's special hoodie

Jenny gave Addi this cute little hoodie and she always reaches for it when we go on our excursions. She also loves her pink blankie from her Nanna! It is funny how at seven months they can alreadt recognize certain things. I LOVE the age she is at right now! Old enough to have a personality and too young to crawl around and make messes all day!

We are so happy because Eli has already meet some cute little friends here that he will have a lot of fun with. However, they will never compare to his little cousins......these pictures are making me homesick! :( And I need a pic of baby Brinley! Love you guys!

                       Our place

Here are some new pics of our apartment (my mom wanted to see pictures.) It is not too bad considering it is student housing! We have three bedrooms and it is all on one floor. We will probably stay here all three years because we are so sick of moving and it is super cheap! We are in a great location though which I really enjoy. I meet my cousin Tabitha this past weekend at the Sears tower and it only took me fifteen minutes to get there. We had a blast!
